What I Believe

One God—Yehovah, Creator and King

I believe in one sovereign and eternal God—Yehovah—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the Creator of heaven and earth. He is holy, righteous, loving, merciful, just, and faithful. His character does not change, and His purposes cannot be defeated.

Yehovah has revealed Himself through creation, His acts throughout history, His written Word, and most fully through His Son.

Jesus Christ—Yeshua the Messiah and Risen Lord

I believe Jesus Christ—Yeshua the Messiah—is the promised Messiah, the Son of God, Savior, and risen Lord.

Yeshua lived without sin, willingly gave His life for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead. Through Him, forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life are offered to all who place their faith in Him.

Yeshua did not come to draw people away from the God of Scripture. He came in perfect faithfulness to His Father, fulfilling the redemptive promises woven throughout the biblical story.

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

I believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith. It cannot be earned through works, religious performance, personal merit, or human effort.

Obedience does not purchase salvation. It is the grateful response of a life that has been redeemed and transformed by grace.

We do not obey so that God will save us. We learn to walk faithfully because He has saved us, loves us, and is at work within us.

The Holy Spirit—Ruach HaKodesh

I believe the Holy Spirit—the Ruach HaKodesh—convicts, comforts, teaches, guides, and empowers God’s people.

The Ruach leads believers toward truth, produces spiritual fruit, gives wisdom and discernment, and equips the body of Messiah for faithful service. Through His work, believers grow in holiness, love, courage, humility, and obedience.

The Authority and Unity of Scripture

I believe the Bible, including the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God and authoritative for faith, doctrine, correction, discipleship, and daily life.

I believe the Bible is one unified story, from Genesis through Revelation. The Old and New Testaments do not compete with one another; together, they reveal Yehovah’s character, covenant faithfulness, plan of redemption, and instructions for His people.

The Scriptures Yeshua and the apostles read, quoted, and taught from remain an essential part of the biblical witness. Earlier Scripture is not disposable, and later Scripture should not be interpreted in a way that makes God contradict Himself.

I seek to study every passage within its historical, cultural, literary, and covenantal context, allowing the Bible to interpret the Bible.

God’s Instruction—Torah—and the Life of Obedience

I believe God’s instruction, commonly called Torah, reveals His character and teaches His people how to walk in love, justice, holiness, faithfulness, and obedience.

Torah is more than a collection of laws. The word carries the sense of teaching and instruction. It helps us understand what Yehovah calls good, what love looks like in practice, and how redeemed people may honor Him in everyday life.

God’s instruction was never given as a human system for earning salvation. Obedience does not redeem us; Yeshua does. Yet the grace that saves us also teaches and transforms us, producing a sincere desire to walk in the ways of the One who saved us.

Grace and Torah are not enemies. Grace rescues, restores, and transforms; faithful obedience is one of the fruits of that transformation.

The Calling of God’s People

I believe followers of Jesus are called to love God wholeheartedly and to love their neighbors as themselves.

We are called to make disciples, serve others, care for the vulnerable, pursue justice and mercy, speak truth with love, forgive as we have been forgiven, and live lives that reflect the faith we profess.

Biblical faith is more than intellectual agreement. It should shape our words, relationships, priorities, conduct, and service to others.

Handling Scripture Responsibly

I believe Christian teaching carries a serious responsibility. Scripture should be handled prayerfully, honestly, reverently, and with a willingness to be corrected by the text.

I seek to study Scripture within its historical, cultural, literary, and covenantal context. This includes considering the original audience, the surrounding passage, the broader biblical story, and the difference between what the Bible says and what tradition may have taught us that it says.

Careful study should not make Scripture inaccessible. My goal is to communicate substantial biblical truth in a way that ordinary people can understand, examine, and apply.

Conviction, Humility, and Respectful Dialogue

I believe truth matters and that sincere disagreement does not require hostility.

I value respectful dialogue with believers from different Christian traditions. I want to teach with conviction without becoming combative, and with humility without compromising Scripture.

None of us approaches the Bible without assumptions, experiences, or inherited traditions. For that reason, I encourage people not simply to accept my conclusions, but to examine the Scriptures carefully and prayerfully for themselves.

A Continuing Commitment

This statement summarizes the foundation of the ministry rather than every conclusion I hold about individual questions of interpretation or practice. Subjects such as Sabbath observance, biblical dietary instructions, feast days, women teaching, headship, head coverings, and other debated questions deserve room for careful explanation. They are addressed through full teachings where their scriptural context and reasoning can be considered properly.

I remain a student of Scripture. I am committed to continuing to learn, test my understanding, correct errors when necessary, and submit every teaching to the authority of God’s Word.

My desire is that everything I teach, write, or create would point people away from the author—and toward the Author.
